THE 65TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GLORIOUS JULY 23 REVOLUTION
The Permanent Secretariat of the Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization congratulates Egyptian people, government and leadership on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution.
This revolution was a landmark in the history of the Egyptian people which opened wide horizons in development and social justice. It also played a regional and international role in the decolonization and support of Arab and African liberation movements and had a special role in establishing the Non-Aligned Movement.
Egypt faces today crucial challenges and defying the black terrorism internally and internationally, and the steadfastness of Egypt and triumph especially after the revolution of January 2011 and June 30, 2013 constitute a breakthrough not only for the Egyptian people, but for the entire Arab nation and the international movement at large.
