We have learned with sadness the sudden death of Dr Morad GHALEB, AAPSO President since 1998,He was certainly a very great Egyptian political and academic personality who held very high Governmental and diplomatic offices and responsabilities during the crucial years of the Egyptian Revolution and some years after, while being too an esteemed academic .
The passing away of such a personality is certainly a great lost for AAPSO, the more so that is death occured just a short time before the celebration of AAPSO fithiest anniversary. It is a great loss for the Egyptian people and many struggling people in the world. Allow me to present my most sincere condolences to AAPSO Secretary General and to the Permanent Secretariat . I am sure that Dr Ghaleb political commitments and personality will continue to be a source of inspiration for AAPSO and for all those who had the privilege to know him , to work with him or to be knowledgable of his important political and progressive influence With high regards .

It is with deepest grief that I learnt about the passing away of Dr Morad Ghaleb. I have been away and my computer was down for the last two weeks, so I did not know about this very sad news earlier. Now that I am able to send this message, I wish to express my heart-felt condolence to his family and close friends like you and the rest in the AAPSO
Secretariat. Dr Morad's death is certainly a great loss not only to AAPSO but goes beyond it to the progressive peoples' movements of the world. I am sure he will be long remembered for his contributions to the people of his
country and those in Asia-Africa-Latin America, in particular, in their fight for liberation, freedom and peace.
