In light of the dangerous conditions in Libya, AAPSO expresses its deep concern about the military escalation, which increases the crisis situation in Libya and threatens the security and stability of the neighboring countries of Libya and the region, including the Mediterranean area.

The Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization is following the serious bloody events in Iraq with grave concern, as these events pose serious threats to the future of Iraqi people and the region.
The Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization welcomes the historic power-sharing agreement between the ruling military council and the civil opposition, which paves the way for a transition to civilian rule. This agreement has been reached after months of pro-democracy protests in which President Omar al-Bashir had been ousted after 30 years of ruling the country.
The Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization welcomes the agreement between the national forces of Sudan (Forces of Freedom and Change) and the military council, in which the transitional government is formed and Sudan is preparing for a promising future that consolidates the values of democracy, justice and peace, the maintenance of security and the preserving of national cohesion to be consistent in a national civil state.
