The body politics of the countries in South Asian Region is in deep crisis. This situation is primarily an internal creation with a minute segment of external seepage. Although all these countries have gone through a "democratic" transformation; short-sighted approaches of political parties and leaders have created a distortion of "democracy" itself which had let to this crisis. In this turbulent world with the spread of terrorism; ethnic, religious and sectarian conflicts, South Asia cannot remain unaffected.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) organized a regional conference of Ministers of Education Arabs held in Sharm el-Sheikh from 27-29 January, 2015 and was attended by representatives of 22 Arab countries.

Although there was uneasiness in relation between China and Japan owing to the claims by both countries of the sovereignty over few rocky uninhabited islands in the North east part of the pacific, Japan had gone to the extend of selling the bigger of the islands to a private sector for establishing a tourist venture. This action was provoked and China sent several ships with volunteers encircling the island. Although for the time being it remains calm, nevertheless no side has withdrawn their claims.
