International Women’s Day

On March 8, International Women’s Day, Afro Asian People’s Solidarity Organization marks its commitment and continued affirmation this day and every day for the full recognition and fulfillment of women’s human rights and security in all spheres.

International Women’s Day is a day to acknowledge women’s rights for equal participation in economic and political decision-making, to celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of women, and to denounce gender discrimination and gender violence.

The empowerment and autonomy of women and the improvement of their political, social, economic and health status is a highly important and essential for the achievement of sustainable development.

Also, Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world. Education women will have better position and respect in the society and family; also they can better understand their rights. Through education women Political empowerment will be in a high level and adequate representation of women. For e.g., women in position of power will not only motivate others but will also work for their rights.

On this International Women’s , AAPSO calls the United Nations, and the international community to support for gender and political equality , the development of a socio-economic that supports human rights and needs.
