LONDON BRIDGE ATTACK

For almost two decades, Europe has been witnessing a number of terrorist attacks and has increased in recent years with the expansion of Isis (DAESH) in Syria and Iraq since 2014.

Over the last two decades, London has witnessed about seven major terrorist attacks, the latest of which was the Manchester attack. Several days later, the London Bridge incident in which 9 people were killed and dozens are wounded.


The reasons for the spread of terrorism in Britain are precisely due to their embrace of extremist elements since the eighties of the last century, those elements that worked to form a cluster networks. The continuation of the horrific terrorist bombings carried out by extremist organizations is a serious warning to world leaders and the international community, specially the United Nations, that serious international cooperation is needed to combat and eliminate terrorism whether they are individuals or countries that are support and finance extremist organizations.


The Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization strongly condemns these heinous bombings and extends its sincere condolences to the British Government and to the British people for the victims of the London Bridge crime, and wishing the speedy recovery of the wounded.
