THE PALESTINIAN PRISONERS' STRIKE

The battle of Palestinian prisoner hunger strike has entered the 22nd consecutive day in Israel's prisons to reject Israeli practices and seek to restore their stolen rights and end the administrative isolation and detention that Israel uses excessively without formal charges.

Some 1,600 Palestinian prisoners continue their open-ended strike on April 17, led by Marwan Barghouti, Karim Younis and Ahmed Saadat.

The strike has entered a period of grave danger in light of the postponement of the prison administration in implementing the fair demands of the prisoners guaranteed by all international laws.

Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity organization appeals to the international community and the United Nations to intervene quickly, especially as the strike entered a stage that poses a real threat to the lives of the prisoners.

The Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization calls on the international community on the UN to speed its efforts in securing the rights of the Phalestinian prisoners by implementing their legitimate demands. Israel must abide by the four Geneva agreements resolutions as a state of occupation.
