AAPSO’s Permanent Secretariat has participated in some activities in June as follows:

Activities which AAPSO’s Permanent Secretariat has organized :

1- A meeting of the Arab Social Forum Secretariat (Cairo Sector) at the headquarters of AAPSO’s Permanent Secretariat.

2- International Conference on the Future Role of NAM and the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of AAPSO under the title” AAPSO: 50 Years of Anti-Imperialist and Solidarity”
Organized by: AAPSO Permanent Secretariat and Philippines Peace and Solidarity Council
15 June 2007, Manila, Philippines.
Attended by: Mr. Nouri Abdul Razzak Hussain (secretary-General) and Ms. Hamsa Abd El-Hamid (International Section).

3- 22nd Meeting of Arab Solidarity Committees organized in Cairo on 26-27 June 2007.
The following committees participated in the meeting: Jordan, Syria, Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Bahrain, and Egypt.

3- Statement on the Palestinian guns towards enemies not towards brothers.18/6/2007 issued on the occasion of the internal fight between some of Hamas groups and some of Fatah groups

Activities in which AAPSO’s Permanent Secretariat has participated outside A.R.E.

1-A visit Chinese Peoples Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) for a week (7-12) June 2007.

The delegation is composed of the following:
- Mr. Nouri Abdul Razzak Hussain – Secretary-General of AAPSO.
- Ms. Hamsa Abd El-Hamid Genidy- International Section of AAPSO.
- Mr. Antonio E. Paris- General-Secretary of Philippines Peace and Solidarity Council
- Mr. Sri Raman – an Indian journalist and writer and representing CNDP (Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament and Peace).

There were discussions between the two sides on mutual interest issues such as the 50th Anniversary of AAPSO, strengthening NAM, International Peace issues especially in the Middle East, and nuclear issues such as the Indo-US nuclear deal. Also there were number of meetings with different responsible and decision-makers in China.
